ManagementOur Managing Director boasts a fifteen-year-long relationship with SAP SE and its products, on a variety of levels and from a variety of perspectives.
Hubertus von Malsen-Ponickau was born in Munich on 11 August 1985. At the age of 18, he moved from Munich to Walldorf to train as an IT specialist, specialising in application development, at SAP SE in Walldorf.
After successfully completing his training and gaining his first consulting experience with SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG, he moved to the SAP division of a renowned management consultancy, where he worked until 2014 as a SAP consultant in the field of customs & foreign trade.
On 20 October 2014, he founded mformatics GmbH, based in St. Leon-Rot (Germany), and has been advising the most successful companies in Europe on implementing, operating and continuously optimising their SAP GTS systems ever since.
Acting responsiblyEach and every day, we take responsibility for our work, the solutions we develop and the success of our projects.
Our sense of responsibility and the knowledge that how we act matters
is reflected positively in our day-to-day work.
Providing our customers with advice in person on-site is a valuable tool for us in many projects, and one which we don’t want to be without. Unfortunately, though, this tool also has an unavoidable negative impact. Travel, hotel accommodation: it all generates CO².
We want to, however, also use this tool and carry out all our business activities responsibly and with a clear conscience.
In line with the motto “some things are worth doing right, right from the outset”, mformatics GmbH has been compensating for all its CO² emissions since its first year of operation, and has therefore been carbon-neutral from the outset.
For our certification as a carbon-neutral company, we prepare a report each year on our CO² emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO standard 14064-1. In this CO² report, we record and calculate all our activities that generate CO², from our heating requirements, power consumption and business trips to our use of stationery.
We then compensate for the resulting CO² footprint by investing in CO² compensation projects, exclusively supporting projects certified in accordance with the “Gold Standard”, and which therefore not only reduce CO² emissions, but also make a positive contribution to the regional economy, education and social standards.
